Welcome to the Kaskey Park Picnic Area!
We are now accepting reservations for events dated on or after April 1, 2024!
After months of renovations that have heavily impacted the south end of the park, our staff is in the final weeks preparing to reopen the South Lawn Picnic Area to general use and reservations.
A few changes of note:

The adjacent lawn area will remain closed until turf has established enough to handle regular foot traffic (possible reopening Summer 2024)

Until the lawn reopens, please access the picnic area via the path on the west side (Lynch Labs or University Ave side)

Despite the lawn closure, we will continue to offer the space to groups up to 40 attendees as the mulched area has been expanded.
To make a reservation:
Read the Rental Agreement for rates, fees, payment procedures, and event logistics information. Please note that the Rental Agreement is updated regularly and is binding.
Up to two events may be scheduled on each non-holiday weekday, provided that the first event concludes prior to 3:30pm. Only one event may be scheduled per day over weekends and holidays. If there is already an event scheduled on your reservation date please leave a 30 minute buffer between events for staff to prepare the space.
